If you feel overwhelmed by daily life and you would like to try something
different that would relieve stress and anxiety, join our Gardening Evenings!
The gardening evenings are social events around the care of one plant, like
roses, aromatic plants, desert roses and many more.
In a tranquil environment, we mix socially and make friends, while we prepare
our potting mix, trim and feed our plants under the guidance of our Agricultural
Engineer, Christina Mortada.
Our sessions are designed to help you relax from daily stress and leave with a
Duration: 45 minutes
Location: Education City Micro-Farm
No gardening knowledge is required.
About the instructor:
Christina Mortada was raised to love gardening, as her family was vine growers.
After getting her master’s degree in plant protection in Lebanon (ULFA) and in
Integrated Pest Management on fruit trees in Italy (MAIB), she worked as a
Research Assistant in various Institutes and landscaping companies.
A few years ago, the power of nature in healing ability and well-being was a
revealing experience for her, so she decided to study more and understand the
secrets of the power of healing gardening, in order to help others.
Her goal is to teach horticulture and bring positive changes in the mental and
physical health of everyone.
