Vegetable Gardening 1 – 2210 (adults)

This is the second workshop of our course “Grow Your Own Food in the Gulf”. Following our Seed Starting workshop in August, now is the time to start your heat loving vegetables outdoors!

Dany Deaibess will help you take your “grow your own veg” knowledge to the next stage. He will share his experience and fun tips to help make this the best growing season!

By the end of this course, you will know:

  • Which vegetables can be planted directly into the soil in September?
  • What soil is best to use?
  • Where should you plant them?
  • What should you spray?

We will cover vegetables like:

Zucchini, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Okra, Melons, Sweet Melon, Corn, Radish, Beans

About the presenter:

This workshop is offered in collaboration with Dany Deaibess. Dany is an Agronomist with more than 15 years of experience in organic gardening, landscaping and agriculture. His job and studies are also his hobby, and he has been growing his own food in his backyard in Qatar, for the past 10 years.   *Suitable for all abilities and garden sizes.
