Green thumbs are a myth. Vicky will teach you how to take care of your plants in the harsh desert climate of the Gulf.
This workshop is addressed to the ambitious gardener who would like to learn the basics of planting and maintaining a green area indoor our outdoor, in their garden or balcony, and also for the more experienced greens keeper who would like to have a little more insight about the plants’ physiology, nutrition and maintenance.
The workshop includes 2 parts: During the first 45 minutes, you will be introduced to the main principles of gardening (plant needs, easy plants to start with, basic plant care, followed by 45 minutes of hands-on practice (preparing our potting mix, feeling the soil humidity, transplanting etc).
What You’ll Learn:
– Prepare a green area indoor or outdoor, that will require the minimum maintenance to look good
– Learn how to prepare the best potting mix
– Maintain your green spaces with the minimum effort and losses
– Move your plants successfully into larger / more suitable containers
– Identify basic enemies and deficiencies and be able to treat them in natural ways.
