About the instructor:
Tapaswi Gowda grew up in an environment where nature has always been a significant part of her life. She has spent her childhood days outdoors exploring and observing the surroundings, which has fostered her love of nature.
After her masters degree in Biotechnology, she worked in an agricultural company in India and later moved to UK and worked at Oxford University as research assistant in a genetics department.Â
After a few years she started working with children at schools, providing individual attention and support in small groups.Â
When she moved to Qatar in 2018, she discovered a passion for sustainable living through gardening and composting. This newfound passion has provided her with a deep understanding of how to cultivate food and maintain healthy plants, even in the challenging environment of the desert.Â
