Little Gardeners Academy Advanced (Thursdays @4PM)

Why try to explain miracles to kids, when you can have them plant a garden?

We invite your kids to learn all about nature and plants at the Education City Microfarm. Our Little Gardener’s Academy is a series of 12 weekly sessions that aims to nurture a love for gardening through interactive activities whilst fostering valuable life skills and meeting new friends!

Learning Outcomes:

• Teach the younger generation about the miracles of nature through informative discussions and hands-on learning.
• Each workshop is tailored to a specific topic, ensuring the kids gain a comprehensive understanding in each session.
• Develop responsibility and patience in kids.
• Keep kids active, learning, and connected to nature — away from screens.

Included:

• All tools and materials.
• Kids will accumulate cuttings, plants, and seeds to take home after each session.
• Kids who successfully complete the program will be granted a certificate of completion – this does not apply for single session workshops. 

Workshop Details: 

Level 3: Building upon the foundational knowledge gained in level 1+2.

Age group: Addressed to ages 5-9 years old.

Date: Every Thursday, 4-5 p.m. from 11th Jan – 9th May 2024.

Location: Education City Micro Farm

Enrollment Package:

6-week workshop package: 75 QAR per class.

3-week workshop package: 75 QAR per class.

Single session workshop: 90 QAR per class.
