Mummy & Me Tiny Farmers: Basics of Gardening (Sundays)

Hands-on • Nature-based • Rooted in real farming
Introduction
A gentle, sensory introduction to farming designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers. Children explore soil, water, plants, and insects through guided activities that support early motor development, creativity, and curiosity. Parents join every step of the experience, making it a meaningful bonding moment outdoors.
Our programs are part of the wider experience featured as part of Qatar Museum’s Countryside: A Place to Live, Not to Leave, an exhibition running from 29 October 2025 to 30 June 2026 across two venues: Qatar Preparatory School (QPS) and the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).
The Mummy & Me Tiny Farmers Sessions act as a child-friendly extension of this exhibition. Through real gardening, harvesting, soil exploration, and nature-based play, children experience the same themes on a practical level, connecting them to the land, local food systems, and the importance of rural knowledge.
