Qatar Museums and Hadiqaa invite educators to a teachers training session at the Countryside: A Place to Live, Not to Leave.
The Countryside exhibition presents the rural landscape as a space for innovation, sustainability, and future living. Through this training, educators will gain a deeper understanding of how these themes connect to Qatar’s context and how they can be effectively translated into classroom learning.
Training Highlights
Participants will:
- Explore Qatar-based research on food systems, water stress, and desert landscapes
- Develop strategies to integrate sustainability topics into their curriculum
- Gain practical tools for incorporating gardening into education
- Engage in hands-on activities that can be adapted for classroom use
- A digital certificate of participation will be provided upon request
Who Should Attend
- Teachers of Grade 6 and above
- Participation is limited to a maximum of 3 teachers per school
- Educators interested in sustainability, science, and experiential learning approaches
