Become a MEMBER
Members, can get access to our community garden. When you register in our community, you can participate in our garden and grow with us seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Our team and community will provide guidance on best practices and seasonal planting tips.
Become a VOLUNTEER
Volunteers, you will have the chance to support our garden operations, assist in community events, and help maintain the garden’s beauty and productivity. Volunteers are essential to the success of our garden and will receive hands-on training and the opportunity to participate in special workshops.
Become a LEADER
Leaders – As a Community Garden Leader, you will play a vital role in managing and nurturing our community garden. You will be the driving force behind creating a vibrant and inclusive space where community members can come together to grow fresh produce, learn about gardening, and foster a sense of camaraderie.
Plant and Seed Swap
Plant and Seed Swap portals are being setup so members, volunteers and all members of the community can share exotic plants and seeds from all over the world.
About the Community Garden
Our new Community Garden at Qatar Preparatory School is a living, growing space designed to bring students, families, and teachers closer to nature. What was once an empty outdoor area has now been transformed into a vibrant “countryside” within the school grounds, filled with seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, and spaces for hands-on learning.
Created and activated by Hadiqaa, the garden serves as an outdoor classroom where children learn by doing. Students prepare soil, plant seeds, tend to crops, observe insects, and harvest fresh produce. Every visit offers a chance to explore science, sustainability, and food education in a joyful and practical way.
The Community Garden is also a place for collaboration and connection. It hosts workshops, volunteer days, and family activities that encourage everyone to contribute to and benefit from a shared green space.
It is a growing example of how schools can reimagine their outdoor areas to inspire curiosity, responsibility, and a love of nature.
