Looking for a fun-quality time, weekend activity outdoors with your family?
Join us in our Family Gardening workshop where adults and kids will learn the basics of gardening together. Gardening time as a family offers a host of benefits to enjoy better health and well-being. It provides stress relief, promotes healthy eating for children, and physical exercise by getting more active in spending time outdoors. Getting your hands dirty, cultivating plants, and harvesting your own food creates awareness about sustainable living and caring for the environment.
During the workshop, adults will learn details about gardening basics (how to prepare the best potting mix, plant seeds, repot a plant, and treat plant enemies in a natural way) while kids will be engaged in fun, gardening-related activities and then plant together.
Maximum of 4 people (kids ages above 3 y.o )
Included: all tools and materials.

About Education City Micro-Farm:
Education City MicroFarm is a pocket farm inside Education City.
The MicroFarm currently consists of the Academic Greenhouse and the Community Garden and is operated by Hadiqaa-Middle East.
The Community Garden was established in February 2022 and is operating through members’ and companies’ contributions.
