At Hadiqaa, we offer a unique after-school gardening program at SEK designed to foster a deep connection with nature while enhancing students’ academic and life skills. Our program provides an engaging blend of outdoor activities and educational lessons that bring learning to life.
Program Overview
Our gardening program introduces students to the joys of planting, nurturing, and harvesting their own gardens. Through hands-on activities, they learn not only how to care for plants but also gain valuable insights into sustainability, teamwork, and problem-solving.
What Students Will Learn:
- Plant Life Cycle: From seeds to sprouts, students explore the stages of plant growth and understand what it takes for plants to thrive.
- Gardening Essentials: Lessons on the importance of sunlight, soil, and water, and how these elements work together to support plant life.
- Edible Gardening: Students get the chance to grow their own fruits and vegetables, experiencing the farm-to-table process firsthand.
- Pest Management: A kid-friendly introduction to garden pests and simple, effective ways to manage them naturally.
- Hands-On Projects: Practical gardening activities that tie into math and science lessons, helping to reinforce what students learn in the classroom.

Gardening Club Details:
📍Location: SEK
📅 Dates: 15th September 2026 – 15th December 2026 (13 Sessions – 1 week break on the 27th of October 2026).
🗓️ Day and Time: Every Tuesday from 12:50 pm – 1:50 pm.
💰 Price: 65 QAR/class (first session is free! – total of 780 QAR).
👧 Age Group: 5-10 years old.
Whether your child is planting their first seed or tending to a thriving garden bed, our program offers a nurturing space for them to grow, both academically and personally.
